The Mongolian National Institute for Educational Research, established in 1956, has continuously worked in the fields of educational research and training for about 70 years, making it one of our country's pioneering institutions in these areas.
Since then, The Mongolian National Institute for Educational Research has played a leading role in improving Mongolia's pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational, and higher education systems.
The institute has significantly contributed to developing curriculum content, methodologies, assessment, learning environments, and the initial development of textbooks across all educational levels; our organization has enhanced the teacher professional development, and enlightened children, adolescents, and the general public.
Because of the educational philosophies, changes, and demands of the new millennium, and within the framework of newly established laws and regulations, our institute's structure, primary activities, and responsibilities have become increasingly refined and sophisticated.
A prime example of this evolution is our organization’s main goal, which includes supplying research-based information to develop Mongolian educational policies, conducting research, innovation, and methodological work, focusing on evidence-based sector-specific policies and planning. These policies impact economics, management, human development, the national curriculum, educational tools, and the overall development of education. Additionally, we provide organizations, citizens, and the public with the results of our research and analyses.
In the coming years, the Mongolian National Institute for Educational Research will work to elevate Mongolia's education to meet the developmental standards of the world's advanced nations.
This effort will involve research, analysis, human resources, material and operational environments, as well as strengthening both domestic and international collaborations.
To all our esteemed colleagues and partners working towards the advancement of education and science, and to everyone at the National Institute for Educational Research, I extend my best wishes for your continued excellence and success.
May research and innovation in educational science flourish and prosper.
Respectfully, Director P.Oyunaa
